The V-Score™

This creative data entry platform will ease the stress and anxiety often associated with performance management and difficult conversations. As a business owner it allows you to set a comparative benchmark that can be used to reflect on for years to come. It’s important that your team feel that their contributions are validated beyond that of just standardized KPIs.  

Whilst objective measures are imperative for growth, so too are the individual contributions of each team member in the workplace. Character, consistency, and competence all play a key role in providing a positive culture and collaborative environment, especially those that underpin our core values and common purpose.

 

The research tells us that negative feedback, even when delivered with radical candor, can be counter-intuitive by triggering a sympathetic response. When looking to point out the shortcomings of another, instead, offer direct advice first. Be specific with your instruction and welcome ‘in the moment’ peer communication. When we tie subjective measures with objectivity, it becomes much easier to monitor management trends – this is known as an employee’s Value Score or ‘V-Score,’ a score that can easily be interpreted by any practitioner or therapist in the team.

The V-Score is a unique tool based on the science behind how humans BEST respond to feedback. The ‘positive sandwich’ is outdated and it is time we moved with the next generation. The V-Score not only ignites empathy between a business owner and individual team member, it promotes curiosity and a crucial shift in perspective. It provides the structure, foundation, and perfect visual prompt to guide a new era of performance reviews.

 The V-Score seeks to showcase and value subjective contributions in the workplace, whilst also maintaining the importance of delivering traditional key performance indicators, all in one easy to use chart.

DISC ADVANCED® with Michael Mannix 

Michael has inspired the leadership team at Western Region Health for over 10 years. Whilst his day to day focus is on osteopathic clinical supervision and supporting a large team of allied health professionals, he is also a valued GrowthRx mentor and certified DISC Advanced consultant. In more recent years Michael has dedicated his time to improving his natural leadership style.
